Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Auburn, AL is seeking a dedicated Retail Team Lead for the Auburn South College Street store. You will support Store Managers, oversee workflows, train associates, manage losses, and uphold GoodwillSR values to deliver excellent customer experiences.

You will lead with responsibility over pricing, donations relationships, and floor layout while coordinating hiring, safety, and daily goals for a productive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains store financial assets including tills, deposits and the change fund.
• Supervises team to ensure best service experience.
• Delegates tasks for all store team members.
• Creates an environment for the team to meet goals and performance measures.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Develops relationships with donors and customers.
• Assists customers with purchases and pricing.
• Ensures sales floor layout is customer-friendly.
• Checks pricing to ensure policies and formats are used.
• Assists with hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Upholds safety requirements.
