Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Store Lead to drive in-store excellence and lead the department team. You will model customer-first service, ensure brand standards, and guide teammates to execute daily tasks and events with a focus on safety and loss prevention.

You will collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to build a strong team, hire effectively, and deliver a superior shopping experience that aligns with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder, aerial lift, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver brand standards and a great teammate experience.
• Provide direction to teammates and participate in interviews and onboarding.
• Coach, develop and train teammates to build a strong, people-first culture.
• Help plan 30-day work plans and workforce needs with store leadership.
• Maintain merchandising, floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory presentation and replenishment.
