Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring for a full-time Retail Staff Assistant/Team Lead in Fredericksburg, VA. The role focuses on customer service, sales, mentoring a team, and daily store operations. Base pay ranges from $22.58 to $28.86 per hour, with eligibility for incentive pay and a 37.5 hour work week.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years sales and customer service experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with multiple websites and computer programs for multitasking.
• Basic geography knowledge is beneficial.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain membership-related licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience and mentor a team to drive store performance.
• Upsell and cross-sell AAA products including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members with travel planning and related services.
• Answer overflow Roadside Assistance calls during peaks.
• Support cashiering, tag and title, and IDEMIA services as needed.
• Assist Retail Manager by leading associates and improving store success.
