POP MART, a global leader in designer toys and collectibles, is hiring a Retail Assistant Store Manager in Des Moines, IA. You will lead a high-performing team, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer experiences on the shop floor.

You’ll oversee daily operations, merchandising, and inventory while promoting POP MART’s brand and new releases. Collaborate with the Store Manager to coach staff, manage performance, and foster a customer-first culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and business performance metrics.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the sales floor to deliver an exceptional customer experience and set the standard for engagement.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve sales goals and KPIs, including conversions, UPT, ATV, and payroll productivity.
• Oversee daily store operations, cash handling, safety, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandising, inventory accuracy, and visual standards.
• Support scheduling, task planning, and store operations to ensure a clean, organized environment.
• Build excitement for POP MART products through events, launches, and community engagement.
