Job summary

The Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Supervisory Sales Associate for CONSUMABLES at NAVSTA Guam. You will lead sales associates, assist customers, and promote products and services while upholding the company brand and customer-first image.

Responsibilities include training, coaching, inventory control, cash handling, and maintaining a positive work environment. Availability for varied hours and strong communication skills are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge of merchandise is required and training materials may be provided.
• 1–2 years of retail or relevant experience are required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service and connect with customers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about promotions and events.
• Maintain store appearance and organize merchandise on the floor.
• Cross-sell and upsell based on customer needs and store promotions.
• Operate Point-of-Sale system and handle cash, discounts, and gift cards.
• Assist with inventory, ticketing, and periodic stock counts.
• Provide leadership to sales associates and support the Department Manager.
