Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEX Little Creek) is seeking a Supervisory Sales Associate to lead a team of associates, assist customers, and promote our brand with a positive, professional presence. You will be responsible for sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff coaching to ensure a productive work environment.

The role requires 1-2 years in retail or related work and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Retail or relevant work experience required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and connect with customers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform about events, promotions, STAR card, and offers.
• Maintain store appearance and organize inventory.
• Cross-sell products and advise on trends and promotions.
• Operate Point-of-Sales system, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
• Provide coaching and direction to sales associates and support supervision when needed.
