Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead to greet customers, drive sales, and maintain an organized, well-merchandised store. You will support management, promote the Northern Tool credit card, and participate in opening/closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires at least 1 year in retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability including some weekends and holidays.
• Love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to meet customer needs.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while performing as a sales representative.
• Maintain a neat, organized store with merchandising, planograms, displays, and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by acting as Floor Leader (approximately 25% of time) and assist with opening/closing.
