Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Retail Operations Team Lead to greet customers, ensure in-stock merchandise, and support day-to-day store operations. You will promote credit options and service plans while maintaining a clean, well merchandised floor.

With at least 1 year in retail, you will mentor staff, communicate effectively, and uphold a service-focused mindset. You must be able to lift 70 lbs and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor store staff.
• Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays.
• Interest in tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to customers.
• Lead and execute key operational functions for store efficiency and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, organized store environment with merchandising and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader and opening/closing duties.
