Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill on James Island, SC seeks a Retail Assistant Store Manager I to support daily store operations, donations processing, and inventory control. You will assist the Store Manager, oversee staff, and ensure excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Two years retail management experience with emphasis on Customer Service.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret basic business material.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store/Facility Manager in operations, donations, processing, and stock rotation.
• Provide exceptional customer experiences to internal and external customers.
• Maintain facility appearance and organize merchandise to drive sales.
• Train team members and coach as needed.
• Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate shipments and optimize floor space.
