Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a store operations professional in Round Lake Beach, IL. You will direct daily store tasks, manage associate work assignments, and ensure coverage at the Point of Sale and donations areas to meet goals.

Responsibilities include supervising production, enforcing safety practices, and serving as a service experience leader (SEL). You will resolve concerns, communicate policies, and participate in change management while engaging with the community.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required at site.
• Work experience in a retail or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including nights and weekend shifts.
• Demonstrates customer service fundamentals and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Directs tasks on a daily basis, including break schedules and production flow.
• Ensure adequate coverage at POS and in donations to meet business needs.
• Monitor production quality and coach the team to hit goals.
• Serve as service experience leader (SEL) and uphold safety standards.
• Communicate policies and procedures and address concerns promptly.
• Resolve employee and customer concerns in a timely fashion.
• Support change management and adapt to evolving tasks.
• Promote community engagement and act as a goodwill ambassador.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Assist in maintaining safe, clean, and orderly work areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety rules.
• Assist in incident reporting and safety improvements.
