Job summary

New Balance in NYC’s SoHo district is hiring a Retail Team Lead for full-time, retail operations. You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach associates, and ensure a world-class guest experience while meeting store KPIs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, floor moves, opening/closing tasks, inventory control, and recruitment support. A flexible schedule including weekends/holidays is required.

• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach associates.
• Drive results by training and developing staff to meet KPIs.
• May assist store manager with scheduling and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Maintain operational procedures including opening/closing and inventory control.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing and hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations.
