Job summary

Dollar Tree in High Ridge, MO seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, train associates, and ensure store standards while maintaining a positive, safe environment.

You will help with merchandising, scheduling, and payroll tasks, while upholding company policies and driving performance in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred in retail/grocery.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient in organization and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
