Job summary

Dollar Tree in Harrisonville, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and maintain stock areas to company standards.

You will also participate in payroll, scheduling, loss prevention, and training Store Associates while upholding safety and professional, friendly interactions with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; assist with loss prevention.
• Maintain stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
