Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide in-person tax services, prepare returns, advise on tax strategies, and engage with the local community to grow the customer base. The role emphasizes hands-on tax knowledge, client relationship building, and promoting TurboTax products while representing the brand in a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willingness to build a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as the public face in the community.
• Engage new prospects, nurture leads, and convert to long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing with TurboTax to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize taxes, maximize refunds, and plan for the future.
• Use government sites, professional tools, and team expertise for accurate tax solutions.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via TurboTax video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help overcome tax challenges.
