Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in-person at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support while building local relationships.

This on-site, non-exempt role emphasizes community engagement and a proactive sales approach, with opportunities to grow your client base and participate in local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• Must have PTIN to file taxes.
• Must hold related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state Form 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual EN/ES is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally, serving as a public face in the community.
• Engage prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts to make taxes accessible and approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax customers.
• Assist with tax planning, deductions, and complex situations (personal/business).
• Facilitate exploration sessions and reviews to maximize refunds and plan ahead.
• Collaborate with TurboTax resources and tools to deliver accurate solutions.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with clients and referrals.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
