Intuit, Inc. is seeking capable TurboTax Retail Experts to serve customers in on-site locations, delivering full tax preparation, expert advice, and software support with a focus on local community engagement.

You will help clients maximize refunds, minimize liabilities, and plans for future taxes while representing TurboTax in person. The role emphasizes building lasting relationships, expanding the local client base, and leveraging marketing and technology tools to provide accessible tax

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite work at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays–Saturdays, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willingness to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, engaging locals, nurturing leads, and growing client base with TurboTax marketing support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex tax situations and planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication and build long-term relationships.
