Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will combine tax expertise with community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs and achieve positive financial outcomes. In this role, you will perform in-person tax return preparation, provide tax advice, and support TurboTax products while building local relationships and driving client loyalty.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willingness to work onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively represent TurboTax locally and be the public face in the community.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert into long-term clients.
• Lead marketing initiatives with TurboTax support to grow local client base.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Handle simple to complex tax scenarios and provide future tax planning advice.
• Use government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions.
