Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, while building relationships and growing the local client base.

The role emphasizes hands-on tax expertise, customer-centric service, and community engagement, with flexible hours and a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador representing TurboTax locally and as the public face in the community.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients with proactive outreach.
• Lead and participate in local marketing efforts with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax scenarios.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Utilize government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients’ financial goals.
