Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations nationwide. You’ll provide full service tax preparation, tax advice, and product support to in-person customers, leveraging your tax expertise to tailor solutions for individual and small business needs.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll grow the local client base, build long-term relationships, and participate in community outreach with marketing support from TurboTax.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• State licenses/certificates/bonds may be required.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• On-site at TurboTax retail locations 20+ hours/week, weekend availability.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers.
• Assist with simple to complex tax situations, deductions optimization, amendments.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize refunds and plan for future taxes.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences in person and via Intuit tools.
• Grow TurboTax client base in local community through outreach and marketing support.
