Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Rancho Cordova, CA, seeks a Retail Support Technician IV to deliver Level 2 technical support for the Retail Technology suite, including POS, back-office, and store applications. You will assist retailers on-site and remotely, train users, and work with the team to improve the customer experience.

Travel is required. Strong networking skills and Microsoft Office proficiency are important.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of supermarket and/or technology experience.
• Strong knowledge of supermarket operations including POS and back-office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for all solutions within the Retail Technology suite.
• Provide hardware service and support for retailer equipment including servers, computers, network and POS.
• Deliver Level 2 technical support and escalate to Level 3 when required.
• Offer remote and on-site field support to retailers in Retail supermarkets.
• Provide basic application training for the Retail Technology suite.
• Counsel retailers with recommendations on technology solutions and services.

Position Overview

The Retail Support Technician IV (RST) provides technology service and support to the company's customers.The RST supports the Retail Technology Help Desk providing Level 2 support and supports the full suite of Retail Technology services, programs, and solutions used by customers. The RST works with other team members and the Retail Services Leadership Team to demonstrate the Company's Values, execute the Company's Strategic Objectives, and continually elevate the Customer Experience.

Job Description

• Provide technical and application support to the Company's Retailers for all solutions within the Retail Technology suite of services including back-office HQ and store applications, point-of-sale, sign/tag software, networking, etc.
• Provide hardware service and support for Retailer equipment including servers, computers, network, and point-of-sale.
• Provide Level 2 technical support to our Retailers when escalated from the Level 1 Retail Technology Help Desk team, and escalates to Level 3 Management when required.
• Provide Retailers with service that includes remote and on-site field support in Retail supermarkets.
• Provide basic application training to Retailers for the Retail Technology suite of services.
• Provide Retailers with counseling, advice, and recommendations on technology solutions and services.
