Job summary

Vans is seeking a Supervisor to join our team in Torrance, CA. You will lead the front-line team, coach associates, and ensure an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain brand standards, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture. This is a hands-on role offering growth within the Vans community.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong coaching and communication skills to influence teams and customers.
• Comfortable using basic software tools for store operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high levels of personalized customer engagement.
• Lead store team to achieve and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Model selling behaviors and coach associates to hit targets.
• Supervise opening/closing procedures, floor coverage and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations and ensure timely product flow to the floor.
• Train and onboard new team members; provide ongoing feedback.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and uphold brand directives.
• Protect inventory integrity and support loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement and uphold safety policies.
