Job summary

America's Thrift in Foley, Alabama seeks a Retail Supervisor to oversee front-end operations and the sales floor. The role focuses on delivering quick, friendly service while auditing quality and coaching staff.

A rotating schedule including evenings and weekends is required to support store needs. The ideal candidate has at least two years of supervisory experience, strong math and computer skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience supervising or leading teams.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer literacy.
• Strong reading comprehension and communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to observe, coach, and provide feedback to staff.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong reasoning and independent judgment abilities.
• Background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to work rotating shifts including mid-shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise departmental team members.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and onboarding.
• Provide coaching and recognition to staff.
• Schedule team according to labor needs.
• Manage cash register operations and store banking procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust to prevent stockouts.
• Ensure merchandise is fresh, priced, and well displayed.
• Assist with promotions and store marketing initiatives.
• Maintain safe, respectful, and compliant workplace.
