Job summary

America's Thrift is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee daily front-end and sales-floor operations, ensuring fast, friendly service and high standards across all store areas. You will coach staff, manage schedules, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced, donor-driven environment.

The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts, including mid-shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays, with a focus on customer experience and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as a supervisor, team lead, or key holder in retail.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer use.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and observe staff performance.
• Must pass background, motor vehicle, and drug screens; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise departmental team members.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and onboarding.
• Provide coaching and recognition to staff.
• Schedule team according to labor needs.
• Manage inventory tracking and stock levels.
• Oversee cash handling and banking procedures.
• Respond to customer/donor questions and complaints.
• Maintain merchandise freshness, pricing, and displays.
• Support promotions and store operations.
