YOUR MISSION
- Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective planning, expense control, sales, and service.
- Guarantee high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
- Spend 90% of working time on the sales floor engaging with consumers, selling, and coaching employees.
- Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with recruitment, training, development, and succession planning of high-performing, results-driven Associates.
- Manage payroll control and create service-driven schedules to maintain profitability while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage Loss Prevention education and awareness programs and ensure operational compliance within the store.
- Achieve or exceed inventory and shrink goals.
- Communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store and Assistant Store Manager.
- Participate in new store openings and closings; travel may be required.
- Process sales, exchanges, and refunds accurately at the cash desk, ensuring proper operation of the POS system and adherence to policies.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store's visual presentation meets or exceeds PUMA standards.
- Maintain the physical condition of the store and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
- Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational competencies, and key accountabilities.
- Ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all staff and customers.
- Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed.
YOUR TALENT
- One to two years of management experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment, preferably in apparel/footwear, with a results-driven track record.
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals, provide high levels of customer service, reason through complex issues, and communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds, including working at heights and using ladders or step stools.
- Sensory skills including speaking, hearing, vision, and depth perception are critical.
- Cognitive skills such as reading comprehension, basic math, writing, problem-solving, and basic computer skills are necessary.
The base pay for this position ranges from $19.25 to $21.00 per hour, plus bonus and benefits.
