Job description

YOUR MISSION
  1. Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective planning, expense control, sales, and service.
  2. Guarantee high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
  3. Spend 90% of working time on the sales floor engaging with consumers, selling, and coaching employees.
  4. Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with recruitment, training, development, and succession planning of high-performing, results-driven Associates.
  5. Manage payroll control and create service-driven schedules to maintain profitability while providing excellent customer service.
  6. Manage Loss Prevention education and awareness programs and ensure operational compliance within the store.
  7. Achieve or exceed inventory and shrink goals.
  8. Communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store and Assistant Store Manager.
  9. Participate in new store openings and closings; travel may be required.
  10. Process sales, exchanges, and refunds accurately at the cash desk, ensuring proper operation of the POS system and adherence to policies.
  11. Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store's visual presentation meets or exceeds PUMA standards.
  12. Maintain the physical condition of the store and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
  13. Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational competencies, and key accountabilities.
  14. Ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all staff and customers.
  15. Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed.
YOUR TALENT
  1. One to two years of management experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment, preferably in apparel/footwear, with a results-driven track record.
  2. Proven ability to exceed sales goals, provide high levels of customer service, reason through complex issues, and communicate effectively.
  3. Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds, including working at heights and using ladders or step stools.
  4. Sensory skills including speaking, hearing, vision, and depth perception are critical.
  5. Cognitive skills such as reading comprehension, basic math, writing, problem-solving, and basic computer skills are necessary.

The base pay for this position ranges from $19.25 to $21.00 per hour, plus bonus and benefits.
