Job summary

Acosta is seeking a strategist to translate JM Smucker priorities into actionable retail plans. You will partner with sales and customer teams to align objectives with field execution, reporting, and measurable outcomes.

You will lead cross‑functional sessions, monitor progress, and use Power BI and Excel to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The role emphasizes implementation, client relationships, and business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressive experience in CPG, retail strategy, client service, or related field.
• Demonstrated success leading complex projects and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; Power BI and AI/automation preferred.
• Knowledge of retail execution, distribution, shelving, merchandising, and on‑shelf availability.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with JM Smucker sales and customer teams; establish planning cadence and visibility to priorities.
• Translate customer objectives into field strategies, timing, reporting, and success criteria.
• Own initiatives from intake to launch, execution monitoring, and post‑event evaluation.
• Lead client working sessions, planning meetings, and business reviews with clear progress.
• Use Power BI, Excel, client data, and field insights to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop concise business stories showing value, ROI, and execution improvement.
• Influence cross‑functional partners to ensure executable, prioritized plans.
• Manage meetings, deadlines, and multiple workstreams with accuracy and follow‑through.
• Lead process improvements and AI/automation adoption to enhance planning and insights.
