Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, well-organized store focused on customer satisfaction. You will assist the Store Manager with staff supervision, merchandising, deposits, and daily operational tasks.

The role involves stocking, cashiering, planogram execution, and safeguarding store assets while maximizing profitability. Strong customer service and supervisory experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong customer service and cash handling competencies.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees and training, and ensure policies are followed.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise including receiving, stocking, and displaying.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
