Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, complete paperwork, and assist with deposits to maximize profitability and minimize losses.

You will perform stocking, cashiering, and other duties as needed to support operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service leadership experience preferred.
• Experience supervising store employees is desirable.
• Knowledge of retail operations and merchandise presentation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training of employees.
