Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store focused on customers. You will assist the Store Manager with staff supervision, merchandising, paperwork, and deposits, while performing stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profitability and reduce losses.

You will lead customer service at the point-of-sale, help schedule employees, train staff, and ensure policy adherence.

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.

• Assist with merchandising: receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Help maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages and markdowns.
• Assist with planograms and ensure correct product presentation.
• Maintain financial integrity: cashier accountability, deposits, and cash controls.
• Support store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
