Job summary

Vans is seeking a Supervisor to support the store’s leadership team and drive an exceptional customer experience. You will lead by example, coach associates, and ensure operational excellence across customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards.

Reporting to the Store Manager and with a focus on profitability and inclusivity, you will help maximize sales, maintain brand standards, supervise daily operations, and train new team members in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals by monitoring progress against KPIs and individual goals.
• Model selling behaviors and foster a consumer-centric mindset through authentic customer interactions.
• Coach and develop associates to deliver high levels of customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
• Supervise daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.
