Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Palmyra, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with store functions, merchandise flow, opening/closing, and loss prevention while helping train associates and maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and team-oriented work ethic.
• Customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Manage merchandise transfer from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Uphold store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in training Store Associates.
• Maintain promotional signage and loss prevention.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
