Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Florissant, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and supervise staff to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

You will work on locating and organizing merchandise, training associates, and performing opening/closing procedures while maintaining store standards and a safe, friendly atmosphere for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with inquiries in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure safe, positive environment for customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms.
