Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced retail environment. You will also supervise, train, and develop Store Associates while ensuring a safe, friendly atmosphere for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, bending, etc.).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain storefront fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping including payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain store cleanliness (bathrooms, floors, trash) and restocking.
• Other duties as assigned.
