Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation is seeking an Associate Manager to support the General Manager in creating strategic plans and driving profitable performance at the store level. You will lead a team, develop talent, and ensure flawless execution of selling strategies aligned with RL brand standards.

You will analyze business trends, educate the team on performance metrics, recruit locally, and maintain store operations, inventory control, and customer experience to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent a plus.
• Retail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; lift up to 30 lbs and climb moderately.
• Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day/evening/weekends and potential travel.
• Proven track record of success and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Strong business acumen and planning/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and strategic planning for the store location.
• Educate the team on sales and profit performance tools and resources.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned with RL brand expectations.
• Assist in developing the store client development strategy and lead community outreach.
• Execute talent strategy with GM to build a customer-centric team.
• Drive networking and recruitment activities in the store market.
• Provide coaching, feedback and learning opportunities to employees.
• Maintain productivity by managing processes and inventory to meet shrink goals.
• Champion use of new technology to support selling techniques and more ways to shop.
• Uphold company policies and store standards.
