Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor. You will sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, assist with production tracking, and move items to the sales floor while supporting daily goals.

Training is provided, with opportunities to develop retail and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.

Location: Davenport, Iowa Pay: $12.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 to 28 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise


• Help track and report production numbers


• Move processed merchandise to sales floor


• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments


• Maintain clean work and storage spaces


• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
