Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory Davenport, Iowa is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price merchandise, and help keep the store organized. You will process donations, assist in production tracking, and move items to the sales floor.

Training is provided with paid instruction and ongoing coaching from store leadership. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and basic math and computer skills for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing is required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and lift/move merchandise.
• Basic math and computer skills are needed.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Location: Davenport, Iowa Pay: $12.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 to 28 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise


• Help track and report production numbers


• Move processed merchandise to sales floor


• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments


• Maintain clean work and storage spaces


• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
