Job summary

Talbots seeks an experienced store leader at Store 00059 Keystone IN-Indianapolis, IN 46240 to manage operations and drive sales with a focus on hospitality and team development.

The role emphasizes store operations, visual merchandising, and exceptional customer service. You’ll coach staff, plan floor sets, and ensure alignment with brand standards while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of specialty retail experience with emphasis on store operations and/or visual merchandising.
• Professionalism, integrity and respect for others.
• Customer-centric, understanding how exceptional service grows store sales.
• Educator, coach and mentor to inspire team members.
• Organized and strategic with ability to make independent decisions in a fast-changing environment.
• Clear communicator of business information and brand initiatives.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic and friendly, with ability to work in diverse environment.
• Able to navigate POS/iPad/handheld systems.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule incl opening/closing; weekends/holidays.
• Open availability of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Provide exceptional customer service that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including clientelling and outreach.
• Partner with the Manager to lead the team with ownership as it relates to all areas of operations.
• Plan, execute and lead floor sets, window displays, interior marketing and markdowns.
• Educate, train, and reinforce brand standards and company policies.
