Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and readable directives are required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and endure frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment with customer focus.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and decision-making abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional efficiency of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling), and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff comply with procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store areas are neat, clean, and presentable; perform general housekeeping as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
