Job summary

Friendly Express Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store success and profitability. You will lead day-to-day operations in the Store Manager’s absence and provide leadership, guidance and policy enforcement for store personnel.

The role requires overseeing cash handling, customer service, and all related functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and world class service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Basic language and mathematical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide world-class customer service and enforce standards and policies.
• Supervise and coach team members; assist with hiring, training and performance.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating daily activities to meet store needs.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Lead by example and represent the Friendly Express brand.
