Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager, Operations to oversee store operations, customer service, and store profitability. You will lead teams, manage inventories, and ensure adherence to standards and loss prevention programs.

In this role, you will participate in hiring and training, supervise cashiers, and drive daily store performance while upholding the company’s core values. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Hardware retail experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware and assist customers proactively.
• Manage store operations, ensure a safe, professional environment, and open/close the store.
• Oversee cashiering, audits, and reports; supervise daily store activities.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, stock levels, and merchandising resets.
• Hire, train, schedule, and coach head cashiers and cashiers with GM approval.
• Lead store meetings and communicate merchandizing or cost-control ideas to leadership.
