Friendly Express, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and profitability. This role leads daily activities in the Store Manager's absence, ensures world-class customer service, and upholds standards and policies for staff.

The Assistant Store Manager will help with scheduling, training, and cash handling while maintaining a welcoming, compliant store environment and guiding teams to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must maintain a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Basic language and mathematical skills.
• Ability to Multi-task, perform repeated bending, reaching, prolonged standing, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and be available for all shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address requests or complaints.
• Supervise staff, assign tasks, and support recruiting and training.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating daily activities to meet store needs.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, and shift reporting.
• Enforce company policies and safety standards across the store.
• Lead by example to drive sales, promotions and loyalty programs.
• Maintain store appearance, stock levels and compliance with regulations.
