Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects and retains staff per laws and policies; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training, conducts evaluations and counseling as needed.
• Sets pay rate recommendations and advancement paths.
• Communicates performance expectations and safety policies; conducts meetings.
• Ensures store staffing and opening/closing coverage multiple times per week.
• Evaluates store metrics like sales, profitability and shrink; identifies opportunities.
• Manages ordering to meet in-stock targets; monitors weekly planning and cycle counts.
• Organizes staging and stocking following company processes.
• Maintains presentation, pricing and signage; proper fixture use.
• Maintains inventory levels, controls damages and paperwork.
• Upholds cash control and security procedures; ensures cashier accountability.
