Job summary

The Store Manager will monitor performance, drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold cash controls while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One year of management experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training and conducts performance evaluations; counsels or terminates as needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance and safety expectations; coordinates meetings to reinforce policies.
• Ensures store opens/closes as required and staff coverage is maintained.
• Evaluates store financials to spot trends and control expenses.
• Manages stock by ordering, reviewing plans, and cycle counts.
• Oversees merchandising, pricing, and signage for proper presentation.
• Maintains accurate inventory and security procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership and a safe store environment.
