Job summary

FiveStar in Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including customer service, merchandising, inventory, and basic accounting tasks.

The role requires hands-on leadership, at least 1 year in retail management, a valid driver's license, and a professional appearance. You will help train staff, implement company policies, and ensure a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail management experience or equivalent education.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in customer service, management, and daily operations.
• Partner with the FiveStar team to provide service as outlined by policies.
• Assist in timely and thorough training of store team.
• Assist in educating store team on policies and communications.
• Assist General Manager in addressing store issues for long-term resolution.
• Merchandising and ensuring adequate inventory levels.
• Promotes the FiveStar treatment to customers.
• Assist in inventory control, equipment condition, staffing, budgets, and safety guidelines.
• Oversee food operation, assess food appearance and quality, promotions, signage.
• Responsible for store operations in GM's absence.
• Lears and understands P&L statements.
