Dollar General Corporation seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under Store Manager guidance, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise and deposits, and enhance profitability while protecting assets.

You will handle stocking, cashiering, scheduling, training, and planogram execution to ensure excellent shopping experiences and compliance across daily store activities.

Aufgaben

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise: receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and building displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
• Implement and maintain planograms; ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, key control, and deposits; sign refunds/overrides; count tills.
• Assist with store operations in Store Manager's absence.
