Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Onalaska, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. You will ensure opening/closing procedures, merchandise movement, and adherence to company policies while guiding Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Move merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to corporate directives and store policies.
• Maintain store fixtures and promotional displays.
• Assist with ordering, damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling.
• Ensure a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect assets including cash; follow loss prevention policies.
• Coach Store Associates and foster a respectful work environment.
• Support safety guidelines and professional customer interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
