Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, support opening and closing procedures, supervise and train associates, and ensure merchandise is well organized, clean, and presented to company standards while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, and handle record keeping.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
