Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise flow, and opening/closing procedures, while upholding policies, safety, and asset protection.

The role emphasizes driving excellent customer service, teamwork, and staff training in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time position with opportunities to grow within the store network.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Protect company assets and handle cash deposits/receipts.
