Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise daily store activities, manage schedules, and develop action plans to improve performance. The role focuses on training opportunities, customer service excellence, and maintaining store standards.

The candidate will support supervision of staff, ensure adherence to inventory and cash control procedures, and help meet payroll and loss prevention goals while upholding ALDI’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance performance.
• Support with inventory procedures, cash control and store signage.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and payroll processes.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety, and maintain equipment in good condition.
