Job summary

ALDI USA in Largo, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise day-to-day store operations, manage staff schedules, and develop action plans that drive store performance while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

This full-time position offers 38 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.50 per hour and a wage increase to $26.50 in year two. You will support payroll goals, inventory control, merchandising, customer service, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Models ALDI core values to foster teamwork and trust.
• Monitors local market to keep ALDI competitive.
• Supports product feedback and assortment decisions.
• Participates in interview process for store personnel.
• Ensures adherence to inventory, cash control, and signage procedures.
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage at all times.
• Assists with stock levels and merchandising to maximize sales.
• Aids in achieving payroll and loss prevention goals.
• Escalates issues to leadership when needed.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned tasks with high customer service.
