Job summary

Goodwill of Southern New England is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, including donations processing, pricing, and customer service. You will assist in achieving sales and financial goals while supervising staff and community service workers.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED with two years of supervisory retail experience. Weekend, evening, and holiday hours are typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of two years related experience, including supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Retail experience in supervisory roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store operations including collections, processing, sales, and financial performance.
• Supervise store staff and community service workers as assigned.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards daily.
• Manage cash handling and reports with Store Manager.
• Open/close store and respond to security incidents.
